It brings me great sadness to share this with all of you. I know many of you have been asking about Donna's heath and any updates we have had. She is an incredible woman and one that has certainly changed my life forever. I cannot begin to share with you how important she is to me and the Miss Pink Organization. She is one of the hardest fighters I know and one of the most passionate people in the world. Among thousands of other incredible roles, she is courageous, beautiful, loving mother, and a faithful daughter of God; she is a pink warrior.
Donna has entered hospice care. Over the past year her health has taken a toll- although it would be hard to tell if you spoke with her. She never had but a positive attitude - with a mission to give Glory to God and spread/raise awareness to all about breast cancer in hopes to find a cure.
Her son Bill shared the following information with us: "She has requested that if anyone wishes to visit her to say their good-byes, that they visit today and today only. If you can't make it today, please contact Mom on her cell 978-884-6642 or me at 765-351-2563, text only (for both) if you can. The address is- Sawtelle Family Hospice 320 Haverhill St Reading MA Please let others know, as this probably won't reach everyone. Thank you and God bless"
This is extremely hard to share with you all. You know her on another level; she is a sister to the pink warriors - an inspiration, role model and great friend. Each of you in has your own special stories shared with her. What an honor and blessing!
